This is a monthly pack hike put on by SLO DOG ADVENTURES. We invite current pack members and their owners, anyone whose been wondering about having their dog join the pack but want to meet us to see how we do things first, or dog lovers who just want to get to know other dog lovers In San Luis Obispo! Bonnie, owner of slo dog adventures will be there to aid and assist in leash work and socialization, and to answer any questions you might have. The hike will last about 2 hours, including a quick briefing before hand, and a group water break/ photo op halfway through.
A FEW GROUND RULES TO MAKE SURE EVERYONE INVOLVED HAS A SAFE AND FUN EXPERIENCE.
*We ask that you keep your dog on a leash at all times. 6 foot maximum length.
*If you have a dog that does not do well with meeting other dogs dues to shyness, reactiveness, etc, or if you would not like other dogs to approach you for any reason, please tie a yellow ribbon on your leash. (Will be provided by us prior to hike.)
*Do not approach or let your dog greet another dog unless you verbally get an “okay” from a dogs owner.
*Check weather and bring necessary hiking supplies for you and your dog. For example: water, snacks, hat, sunscreen, poop bags, water bowl, backpack.
